Statement: Upholding integrity and security - action taken regarding Lueke (YAB_Maverick)

MYSverse is dedicated to fostering a community built on trust, creativity, collaboration, and mutual respect. The integrity of our projects and the safety of our community members are paramount. When these principles are violated, we are committed to taking decisive action.

Following an extensive internal review, MYSverse has made the decision to permanently ban the individual known as Lueke (aka YAB_Maverick, and associated with LCO) from all MYSverse platforms, projects, development teams, and community spaces, effective immediately.

This decision was not made lightly and comes after careful consideration of evidence related to a series of actions that fundamentally breached MYSverse's trust, violated our Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and developer integrity guidelines, and demonstrated clear malicious intent towards our projects and community.

Key findings leading to this action

Fraudulent entry into MYSverse development programme

1. Our review confirmed that Lueke (aka YAB_Maverick) secured his position as a developer by submitting a build test in March 2024 that was not his own work.
2. The substantial portion of this build was completed by another individual, CartnezRichie, at Lueke's direction. According to CartnezRichie, he did not receive any payment for his work.
3. This act of misrepresentation was a direct violation of the integrity expected from all MYSverse contributors.

Misuse and unauthorised distribution of MYSverse assets

1. Evidence showed that Lueke shared proprietary MYSverse assets, including texture kits and build kits belonging to MYSverse developers like Ahhan and Rad_ikal, with CartnezRichie, an external party at the time of the initial incidents.
2. This was a breach of trust and MYSverse policy.

Documented malicious intent to sabotage MYSverse projects

1. Most alarmingly, MYSverse uncovered explicit statements made by Lueke in December 2023 (prior to his developer application) detailing his intent to cause harm to MYSverse.
2. Specifically, Lueke stated a plan to "semua map sebenarnya slowly i leh remove semua recovery pahtu boom hancur" (all maps actually, slowly I can remove all recovery then boom, destroy).
3. Such premeditated intent to sabotage is an unacceptable threat to our community's work.

Violation of NDA and deceptive conduct during suspension process

1. After being suspended from Hornbill Interactive (the MYSverse development team) on 7 April 2024, pending investigation, Lueke’s responses were evasive and further confirmed his deceptive conduct.
2. His claim that CartnezRichie was merely his "texture maker" contradicted the evidence, and his admission of delegating work constituted a violation of his NDA by sharing confidential task information.

Failure to comply with resolution process

1. Lueke was offered a fair opportunity to substantiate his claimed abilities through a supervised live build test, under strict and transparent conditions communicated on 6 May 2024.

2. He expressed discomfort with the verification measures and ultimately failed to comply with or arrange this test.

Context of MYSverse's response and recent outreach

MYSverse's initial handling of Lueke's misconduct in April 2024 was significantly guided by the need to protect CartnezRichie. At that time, CartnezRichie had come forward as a whistleblower, reported Lueke's actions, and expressed serious real-life safety concerns regarding Lueke, including an intention to file a police report.

Our priority was the whistleblower's well-being, which shaped our approach to Lueke's initial suspension.

Recent observations of CartnezRichie's visible public association with Lueke and his new organisation, LCO, prompted MYSverse to seek direct clarification.

On 20 May and 21 May 2025, we formally reached out to CartnezRichie, providing him with a summary of our concerns regarding this new association and requesting his perspective, particularly on whether he still perceived a personal threat from Lueke that would require MYSverse to maintain its previous protective considerations.

On 25 May 2025, CartnezRichie responded to our outreach. He confirmed that MYSverse may proceed with necessary actions regarding Lueke and explicitly stated that he "didn't longer need protection."

This confirmation from CartnezRichie means that the specific protective measures previously influencing our approach are no longer the primary constraint. This allows MYSverse to now act decisively on the direct and documented threats Lueke himself poses to our community and interests, and to transparently communicate the basis for Lueke's permanent ban.

Our commitment moving forward

MYSverse will not tolerate actions that undermine the hard work of our community, compromise the security of our projects, or threaten the safety and trust of our members. We are reinforcing our internal vetting processes, security protocols, and guidelines on conflicts of interest and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) to prevent such incidents in the future.

It is important to state that the actions of Lueke are his own and should not automatically reflect on all individuals who may be members of his organisation, LCO, or other affiliated groups. MYSverse will continue to assess all collaborations and team member conduct on an individual basis.

However, as a precautionary measure to ensure clarity and protect MYSverse interests, we will be implementing clearer guidelines and requiring Conflict of Interest declarations from any MYSverse team members who also have affiliations with external organisations that could present competing objectives, including but not limited to LCO.

This action against Lueke (YAB_Maverick) is taken to safeguard the MYSverse community and to make unequivocally clear that individuals who engage in deceptive practices, breach trust, or harbour intent to harm our projects will not be welcome. This permanent ban will be actively enforced by the MYSverse Moderation team across all official MYSverse Discord servers, Roblox experiences, and associated community platforms.
